We live in the area but recently went to Moghul almost after a decade to treat our guests. We were pleasantly surprised with everything - quality and taste of the food, ambience and friendly courteous staff. It was so good that we visited twice last month and both time we were served by ever smiling Prashant who made our visit special. Thank you Prashant! Moghul is lucky to have you serve their guests.

First time ! Wow . Haven’t been to this restaurant in 15 years ! One of my friends suggested and went for a lunch buffet here.. not much of spread for non-vegetarians. Buffet cost about $23 but they put 20% gratuity on the food… lots of parking outside.. lots of chairs and tables inside to sit and eat.. The restaurant was loud though.. .. Vegetarian food was OK.. We liked the kadi and rice . Kadi was super good .. alooo tikki was good too. Other items were bland and not spicy at all.. in fact, the paneer gravy was a bit sweet.. non-veg items were also not spicy at all.. dessert was good.. Gulab Jamun and rice pudding.. Chai was good too.. rice was a bit dry and butter naan was good . Overall, an average experience. 3/5

Loved the food. Thank you! Didn't expect the surprise bill after the overly priced menu items already. I understand that others in the reviews raised this concern and you tried to justify your standards and billing policies. The service is not 5 star. The seating is just okay but one of the guest had too much heat right under the seat and we had to change to another table. Even the best of the best 5 star hotels I stay and spend the holiday rarely charge a max of 18% gratituty. Next time have the server mention gratituty beforehand for every guest you get, put a line in the menu item under every page clearly that you charge 20% gratituty. And of course continue to expect negative reviews for the gratituty you are charging after the high prices you set.

We reserved a table for three to celebrate my wife's birthday. This is something I had mentioned in the reservation. This place promotes itself as a high end restaurant, therefore I would mention the following opportunities- 1. Help customer celebrate special occasions. 2. Clean or take out the dirty carpet from the stairs. 3. Have a designated space for coats and jackets. 4. Keep paper towels in the restroom. 5. Do not charge 20% tip in advance. Give customer the discretion to tip based on service. Overall, it was an average experience at a premium price.

Visited for their weekend buffet and was a bit underwhelmed. For the price, the selection felt quite limited, especially for a weekend spread. Some dishes lacked flavor, and the biryani was particularly disappointing—missing the depth and aroma you’d expect. Overall, it’s okay for a one-time visit, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return for the buffet.
